This is a nice, honest, Winchester 1886 in .40-65. It has a 26" full octagon barrel with full mag, and a crescent butt, original sights. The wood is solid and the wood-to-metal fit is perfect. The bore has some roughness but is very shootable. I have shot this rifle and it functions perfectly and shoots great. This is NOT a gunshow gun having gone through many dealers or people messing with it; just a nice, honest Winchester. I bought this gun on March 6, 1999 so it's been in my collection for over 25 years now.
I have the yellow sheet for this. It was manufactured January 6, 1896 and shipped April 9, 1897, so it is antique. As long as you are not prohibited from buying and owning this, I can ship it straight to you. I'm sure there are exceptions, maybe California, probably New York City, Chicago, and others.

This is a heavy, expensive, gun so shipping and insurance is $100 in the continential United States. Since it is antique, I can ship it directly to you upon proof of age, and as long as you don't live in a state that prohitits it. If I need to ship it to a dealer, I can do that. If your dealer insists that this be shipped from a dealer, please add an additional $25 to cover my dealer's charge. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be higher.
