Description
This is a EXTREMELY RARE, Rossi Overland in 16ga. Yes, we have 12, 20, and .410's all over the place. But have you ever seen one in 16ga? Even the Blue Book of Gun Values doesn't list one. Well, I've been finding Rossis for about 25 years, but never seen one, until now. And this one is really nice. It's an early gun with a beautiful high-gloss finish on the stock, and the Greener-style action. Just a really nice, and rare, Rossi. You won't find another.
As you can see in the photo, the barrels are marked 16ga, 2 3/4" with one barrel Full Choke and the other Modified Choke. The serial number is S12531, making it a very early Rossi. (Rossi Overland serial numbers have either an "S" prefix, or a "T" prefix. The "S" prefix guns are earlier). And this gun was imported by the Garcia Sporting Arms, Washington DC which the early ones were.
